Have any selection been made for the books for next year? I'm
ready to start on some new stuff (although I'm still waiding through
the stand).

I'm sorry Shoell, I haven't read a book in months. I need to catch up
before adding any new books. What are you reading now?

I'm reading "Assassin's Apprentice" by Molly Hobb. It's book one of
the Farseer Trilogy. So I will follow it with book 2 & 3. I've only been
at it for 2 days, but I'm enjoying it so far.

I just finished "Peter and the Secret of Rundoon" book 3 of The
Starcatchers trilogy based on the Disney version of Peter Pan. It was
a lot of fun. I also just finished book 4 of The Heroic Misadventures of
Hiccup the Viking with my 6-year-old...they are laugh out loud funny
books and an very easy read—I recommend them to anyone who
needs a good laugh.

Soyokaze let me know when you want to pound out another reading
list that you and I can read and talk about.

I've not read many of the book club books, but I did read the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull.  Also "The Candy Shop Wars" by the same author.  This author has a knack for taking something we've seen before (fairies, ogres, witches, demons, magic..) and still creating a story that's new.  My neice didn't want to read the Fablehaven series because she thought it might replace the Harry Potter series.  Not a chance!  But it is still a great series.

Have any of you read Twilight? I read and enjoyed it so much that I finished the rest of the series. The other two books in it are New Moon and Eclipse. The author is Stephenie Meyer if any of you are interested in picking it up.

Haven't read the "Twilight" series, but I might be convinced to read her new book The Host

Correction to that last post: there is now a fourth book in the Twilight series call Breaking Dawn. I plan to read it just as soon as Twonky and I get this move over with.

Oh by the way, we're moving. We'll be returning to the land of affordable real estate in just under 2 weeks.  (That's Utah in case you're wondering).
